What is the importance of sleep?
Japan has the highest level of sleep deprivation among developed countries. Two-thirds of Japanese adults do not get the recommended 7 to 8 hours of sleep. The average sleep time for adult Japanese is 6.5 hours, and 40% sleep less than 6 hours.
"I feel a bit tired, but it's probably nothing serious." This is precisely the problem!
Why do we sleep?
Scientific research on sleep is actively progressing, and the results are very interesting. Consistently getting healthy sleep is the most important lifestyle habit one can choose for a healthy and happy life. Sleep is even more important than eating healthy and exercising.
